Currently looking for a full-time position in print design, multimedia and interactive development with a local company. I am looking for a fun, creative work environment, where I can utilize my skills to their fullest potential. I have been a volunteer at the DMNS on Sundays for the Space Odyssey exhibit as a Galaxy Guide since it opened in 2003. This experience offers me extended education and practical application of astronomical knowledge. I love to share my passion of science with the visitors and staff at the museum. Giving tours and demonstrating technology that applies simple scientific methods is important for educational public outreach. I am also a member of the live interactive dome group which is bringing experimental audio/visual performances to the Gates Planetarium at DMNS and developing new tools and software for sound reactive visuals in the submersive environment.

At Sheldon High I was on the school newspaper staff. In the beginning we used the old paste-up method to produce the newspaper. At home on my Macintosh, I used Adobe PageMaker to do other school projects. I ended up teaching my class and teacher how to use PageMaker to layout and design the newspaper. I won a special achievement award and became head editor of the paper with another person; I was in charge of proofing the layout and design, etc....
